The owner and designer of this cabin is me Melissa Hegge. I have a great pas

sion for Norwegian & Scandinavian design. And my main goal with this renovation has been to give you the guest the opportunity to stay, live with Scandinavian Design and experience the nordic way of life. Almost every piece of furniture and artifact has a story to tell in the cabin. With its eclectic mix of old family history artifacts combined with modern and new design classics. The web site (soon to be launched) will provide all the info and stories about what you see and live with in the cabin. Well I believe in good quality design that is timeless. We have so many great designer here in Norway and the rest of Scandinavia that I would love to tell you a bit more about. A web shop will also be available in near future. So you can bring a piece or two of a Scandinavian design classic with you back home.

THE AREA AROUND

Navigating your way through the north can be a bit challenging. Part of the Villa Hegge experience is also to get the local tips and insight to this area and you will be provided with great tips on things to do, see, go, eat and other experience and hotels that is worth the visit and detour when you are traveling up north. From Finnmark, Tromsø to Lofoten and Bodø.

It is winter wonderland at my cabin these days - this image I took a few weeks go when I was visiting myself. Snowing non stop. So this was one of the few clear moments with the dark blue light. So wonderful to stay with the best of company 🥰❤️ for a few days.

It is a few day’s availability before Christmas. Then it is fully booked to 1st of February. But it you want to experience winter and northern lights, it is still vacant days February-April. Link to booking in bio.
