Our marketing might be a bit slow. Her father was a guest here 41 years ago, and recommended her to stay at Stamsund Hostel. We love that we have secund generation guests comming, but we might need faster marketing so it doesn’t take over 40 years for the word of mouth to spread 😂 and even if our woodfired stove is new the iron pans are the same, and so is the wine :)

If you like birdwatching, fishing, hiking, climbing or surfing Stamsund Hostel is a perfect base or your stay in Lofoten! We are located in the middle Lofoten, off the busiest main roads and of course by the sea. Take advantage of our free rowing boats and fishing equipment and experience fishing your own dinner. Or use our woodfired sauna and take a dip in the sea!
