Stryn Vandrerhjem Hostel and Motel is located on Stryn's hillside, offering a spectacular view, a cozy environment and affordable prices. Recently renovated, a building with long history dating back to German occupation period, is promising to provide you a comfortable and friendly stay. 1,3 kilometers from the center of Stryn, that means a nice walk up the hill or a free ride provided by

the Vandrerhjem staff (be sure that the view will compensate for the effort!)

Staff can help you arrange your nearby activities such as skiing, hiking, glacier walking and fishing. Closest accommodation to the ski centers, suitable for both long and short stays. Stryn Vandrerhjem offers variety of room types such as dorms, family and motel rooms. Free wifi connection, guest computer, kitchen and more facilities provided. Breakfast and dinners are going to exceed your expectations, making you feel like home!

So, it is official! The hostel is on sale! Once again we would like to make clear that it is not Stryn Hostel and Motel AS that went bankrupt but Stryn Vandrerhjem. Stryn Hostel and Motel was renting it from Stryn Vandrerhjem and since things got complicated we decided to move on! If you are curious or interested you can check it out here: http://knardal.no/
We wish good luck to the new owners, if this building remains a hostel. And if it is going to be put down and build something else...well Stryn will have lost the only historical building since the 2nd world war era. Georgia and Bruno would once again like to thank their guests for an amazing season! ;)
