Saturday, September 5 at 22:12, something extraordinary lit up the sky over Northern Norway. 🚀

Dave ( ) watched the launch from Svinøya Rorbuer in Lofoten, as the Spectrum rocket lifted off from Andøya Spaceport and headed into the night sky.

A pretty incredible reminder that you never quite know what you might see from Lofoten. ✨

There’s always something happening behind the scenes at Svinøya. 🛠️❤️

We’re always working on something new, upgrading, renovating and finding little ways to make Svinøya even more beautiful and comfortable for you.

Svinøya Rorbuer officially opened its doors in 1995, but the story of this place goes all the way back to 1828. For more than 30 years, we’ve been taking care of these old buildings, restoring them, improving them and making sure they can continue to be enjoyed for generations to come.

And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Because it’s not just about renovating old buildings. It’s about taking care of a place we love, keeping its character and history alive, while making it feel like home for everyone who comes to stay.

Behind every little improvement, there are people who care deeply about Svinøya and put a lot of love, time and passion into making it better.

And yes,we’re already working on the next thing. 😉🔨
