Gjennom et hull i et fjell, tiI en bortgjemt krok på Sør Helgeland, ligger Terråk Gjestegård. Bo i et av våre 6 dobbeltrom, 4 suiter med havutsik eller nyt roen i en av våre romslige tømmerhytter. Våre møte, kurs og konferanse fasiliteter kan gjerne kombineres med en aktivitetspakke, vi har noe for enhver smak. Vi har selskapslokaler til ca 60 pers og åpner gjerne vår restaurant for større grupper og arrangementer.

You’ll almost certainly run into us at breakfast.

Olga and Niko-we run this place ourselves. We pour you coffee, suggest an itinerary for the day, and welcome you back from your water activities in the evening. There’s no reception desk with name tags here-just a warm, welcoming home where we’ll recognize you by your second day. That’s something you can’t get at a big hotel.

Fresh fish caught right here in this fjord

In the summer, Færingen’s kitchen features whatever the coast has to offer right now. Simple, local, and seasonal. We’re open not just to our guests: if you’re driving by on FV17, stop in for lunch or dinner. It’s best to reserve a table by the window with a view of the water in advance

Cloudberries will soon be ripe in the marshes

In the north, cloudberries are called “the gold of the marshes”: rare, expensive, and incredibly delicious. The end of July marks the start of the season.
We’ll tell you where to look, and in the evening, you can try a dessert made with them at our restaurant.

Ferries on Kystriksveien: How Not to Waste Half a Day

Route FV17 involves several ferry crossings. A couple of simple rules will save you time: arrive at the pier 15 minutes early, check the schedule in advance, and don’t rush between crossings.
By the way, you can view and download the schedules for all ferries on this route directly from our website.

The best views are often in places where you weren’t planning to stop.
