Other Norse cultures feared them. They told horror stories and developed superstitious rituals in the hope that they would protect them.
Whichever version you prefer, one thing is certain: the Northern Lights were given great power and significance by the Norse peoples. Whether a sign of good or evil, the light was as magical and revered as it is today✨

UpNorth Arctic Travel har gjennom høsten hatt flere kjøreoppdrag av både lengre og kortere turer. Vi har løyve til å kjøre turvogn også i utlandet😊👍. Det har nok ikke kommet like klart frem. Derfor, om dere ønsker Finland eller Sverigetur er det også oppdrag vi tar🚌. Ingen oppdrag er for store eller små.

Vi minner også på at UpNorth kjører eventer med både snøscooter og minibussturer for å jakte Nordlys. I tillegg har vi overnatting og bespisning sammen med våre samarbeidspartnere🥩🍳🎂🍰🍽️🥃☕️.

The arctic winter is approaching and the team at Ekkerøy Lodge is looking forward to welcoming guests from all over the world. New this winter is that we have purchased more Snowscooters, sleds and various equipment to be able to accommodate increased demand. This will be a magical winter season💙🤍
