She was denied from college at the age of 17.
Her mother died of sickness when she was 25 years old.

She divorced at the age of 28 and was diagnosed with severe depression.

She didn't want to be here at the age of 30.
But she focused all of her energy on the one thing she could do better than everybody else.
And that was when she started writing.
She ultimately published her debut work at the age of 31.
She had four books out before the age of 35 and was crowned Author of the Year.
On the first day of its release, her new book sold 11 million copies at the age of 42.
