Located at the heart of an ancient Mountain village, Kagbeni in Mustang Nepal at the altitude of 2800m, Kagbeni is a gateway to Upper mustang and northern most area that the foreigners could visit without permit and has high-altitude desert climate similar to that of Tibetan Plateau.
