Nepal is a country of over 3500 villages. It covers most of the rural parts of the country which fall under poverty line lacking basic fundamental needs of daily life such as health, education, communication, human skills, job and facilities. Due to this reason, every year hundreds of people migrate to the urban cities looking for better opportunities in order to raise the living. This process of resettlement has emptied many villages in the country making a huge gap between the two ends of an equal growth of Nepal. To address this issue, joint efforts from Evergreen Tours and the people of the Tanchowk village, Kaski, Nepal are combined to build an Eco Lodge in the lap of the beautiful mountains Annapurna and Fishtail. It adopts sustainable measures that maintain low impact in the environment. Local participation and utilization of available resources is our major principle. This alternative process provides funds for the empowerment of local people and welfare of the environment.

**A Surprise Little Visitor at Kalsee Eco Lodge 🐆❤️**

Yesterday, we had an unexpected guest arrive at our lodge, a baby leopard! This little one is incredibly cute and surprisingly calm, showing no signs of aggression.

We are concerned that it may have become separated from its mother, as it has not been eating and appears lost. Our team has been carefully trying to offer food and ensure its safety. We even guided it back toward the nearby forest, hoping it would reunite with its family, but the little one returned to us again.

We have informed the wildlife conservation authorities and are waiting for their guidance and support. We hope they can either take proper care of this beautiful cub or advise us on how to responsibly care for it until it can be safely reunited with its natural habitat.

Nature always finds a way to surprise us. We are committed to ensuring this precious little visitor receives the care and protection it deserves. ❤️🌿

For the safety and security of all, it is **mandatory to present and submit a copy of a valid Photo ID at the time of check‑in** at **Kalsee Eco Lodge**.

🌿 Road Update to Kalsee Eco Lodge

Due to ongoing road improvement construction, the alternative road shown in the attached map is currently accessible only for motorbikes and scooties. Larger vehicles are not permitted on this temporary route.

Hiking guests can continue using the regular Lumle foot trail without any changes — the walking path remains safe, scenic, and open as usual.

Please follow the route indicated in the map for smooth travel to Kalsee Eco Lodge.
