Nepal is a country of over 3500 villages. It covers most of the rural parts of the country which fall under poverty line lacking basic fundamental needs of daily life such as health, education, communication, human skills, job and facilities. Due to this reason, every year hundreds of people migrate to the urban cities looking for better opportunities in order to raise the living. This process of
resettlement has emptied many villages in the country making a huge gap between the two ends of an equal growth of Nepal. To address this issue, joint efforts from Evergreen Tours and the people of the Tanchowk village, Kaski, Nepal are combined to build an Eco Lodge in the lap of the beautiful mountains Annapurna and Fishtail. It adopts sustainable measures that maintain low impact in the environment. Local participation and utilization of available resources is our major principle. This alternative process provides funds for the empowerment of local people and welfare of the environment.
