What an astounding day in the nourishing lap of our pristine village. Sunrise view in the morning was good, sunset was the best and finding the fresh footprints of a couple of tigers in an early morning was something remarkably unprecedented. The happiness we all felt during our trip is beyond words. Who says they are just our accomodation guests....we are already great friends and a lot more to explore in the coming days !

Our goal is to remain less commercial and offer the best possible hospitality of the village, people's lifestyle and their cultures. They don't see foreign travellers everyday and when you meet them you'll be accepted as their family members. Come on, join us and be a wonderful part of the Bliss Accomodation.

We're so happy to welcome Danielle (sitting next to me) from Holland in our lovely apartment. It is her second time to Nepal and this time she is here to explore more yogic practices and travel some exotic places in and outside Kathmandu valley. She will stay with us for over a month and we're very committed to making her stay comfortable and memorable.

'Laxmi Puja' is a celebration of brightness over darkness and this tradition in Nepal is more than a religious practice as it is believed here that brightened hearts are really vital to keep mankind happy and prosperous. The festival of lights is an annual reminder for all of us to continuously strive for common happiness and peace.

The April 2015 earthquake in Nepal not just took lives of thousands of people but also destroyed our ancient sites and UNESCO global heritages including the 'Boudhanath Stupa'. Many such heritages are waiting for their reconstruction, however the Stupa was brought back to its life in November 2016. We're so proud to have our apartment at the walking distance of this wonderful heritage.
