We can’t wait for our first Sun Kosi trip of the season! The first expedition in September promises to be a high-water rollercoaster, packed with big waves, exciting rapids, and unforgettable moments on one of the world’s great river journeys.

The Sun Kosi—known as the “River of Gold”—is one of the world’s classic multi-day white-water rafting and kayaking expeditions. Rising in the Himalayas, it winds through spectacular remote valleys, lush forests, and traditional riverside villages before joining other rivers to form the Koshi system.

From thrilling rapids and pristine beaches to incredible scenery and wilderness camping, the Sun Kosi offers an adventure that keeps drawing paddlers back year after year. September’s higher water levels make this one of the most exciting times to experience this legendary river.
