We are a small, family-owned business. Before, when our friends wanted to visit Dhulikhel and stay overnight, we scratched our heads trying to think of a place that did the basics right but didn't hurt the pockets. Year after year, we struggled to find the right place. There are certainly great places to stay in Dhulikhel, but we didn't want to recommend “fancy” to our friends. We wanted them to feel like they were staying with us, in a nice, simple home. Hence, we rented a building that had been a home for Kathmandu University School of Medicine doctoral students for years. It needed some work and renovations. We took our time, keeping in mind that the basics had to be done right. Good service, hot water, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and great food.
Today, that’s what we stand for. A simple family-run lodge with the basics done right, where you feel like you are staying at home

As always, it was wonderful having the amazing Livon Journey to Miss Nepal Production team at Asha this Friday and Saturday. Apart from the sizzling barbeques, mouth watering pastas and filling daal bhat, they also had a heap load of fun.
