Perfectly situated in the very heart of the Annapurna region, our hotel is located in the hamlet of Gunsang, just an hour’s walk after the village of Manang, on the Thorung-La trail. Because of its location, our hotel is not a 4 star hotel like in manang, but You’ll find in our house 4 double rooms, 3 triple rooms, and a room with attached toilet, all with spectacular views on the Annapurna range.
We can provide blankets for the night and solar hot water for shower on sunny days. There’s also a heated dining hall with large tables for family style dining and again a huge window to enable our guests to enjoy the view. We are equipped with an oxygen saturation tester to check our guests’ body’s acclimatisation rate. An ideal acclimatation walk from Manang, you can stop and enjoy a cup of homemade seabuckthorn juice with freshly baked muffins while contemplating the view from our sunny terrace. You can also choose Chullu West as a place to relax for a couple of days before heading to the Thorung-La pass. There’s plenty of short panoramic walks to do from here, including a short visit to the yack sheperds’ or pleasant strolls picking wild moutain berries (seabuckthorn) and herbs (thyme, oregano). We are proud to serve homecooked food with fresh produce from our garden. There’s an open kitchen where you can sit and watch how to make momos or other local dishes. Come and taste our famous seabuckthorn juice, yack cheese and home- made fresh muffins.
