In our 800-year-old Barang Village, the real strength of the community has always been the women's.

For the past 15 years, the village has been guided by the Women's Community. Every decision — from development work to social projects — is discussed and led by the women of the village.

They are farmers, caretakers, hosts, and leaders.
They welcome travelers into their homes, protect traditions, and quietly keep the village moving forward.

These photos are not just portraits.
They are the faces of the women who carry the spirit of our village.

we just published my new YouTube video!



This one is special because I filmed it during August, right in the middle of monsoon season. Many people worry that trekking in Nepal during monsoon is impossible — but we proved them wrong! 🌧️⛰️

We completed the Annapurna Circuit trek in conditions that many think are “bad weather” or “unthinkable.” Through this vlog, I want to show that August trekking is absolutely doable, and the experience is incredibly beautiful in its own way. 💚✨

Deuraali Puja is a traditional mountain worship ceremony observed in many parts of rural Nepal, especially along ridges and passes known as Deuraali. It is performed to honor the local deity believed to protect travelers, villagers, and livestock. During the puja, people gather at the sacred spot with offerings such as flowers, rice, incense, fruits, and sometimes local liquor or animal sacrifices. A priest or village elder leads prayers for safety, good health, and protection from natural calamities. The ritual reflects the deep respect Nepali people hold for nature and the mountains, symbolizing harmony between humans and the environment. It also strengthens community bonds and marks gratitude toward the divine forces that safeguard daily life and journeys through the hills.
