The amended Local Alcohol Policy (LAP) comes into effect tomorrow Saturday 25th October 2025.

All Off License premises will be closed by 9pm - this includes our bottlestore

Through the Month of September, The Grand Hotel & Bar Akaroa in partnership with Akaroa Salmon New Zealand is helping to support Bayleys Plate up for a Purpose!!! Funds raised are to go towards The Christchurch City Mission's Back to School programme. For every purchase of our featured dish a donation will be made to this amazing cause and effort!
Come on into The Grand Hotel to satisfy those taste buds with some locally sourced Fresh Salmon and feel good about knowing you have helped the Christchurch community at the same time!!!
