Au Revoir!

After a decade of memories in Akaroa we are signing off and have sold the business!

We want to say a huge thank you to every guest who stayed with us and to our amazing local community for 10 years of support. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Note: The motel will be closed from May 1st to allow the new owners to prepare for their next chapter.

We parked up at .maison.akaroa yesterday and enjoyed a beer on tap and we have zero complaints on the view! Sounds like the perfect weekend plan if you ask me!

Something we absolutely love to see – and hear!
One of our recent guests left us this lovely note, and it truly made our day:

“To the owners and the cleaners. What a wonderful experience we have had. Please know the extras, ie shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc are so lovely to have – the heated floor is bliss and the bed very comfortable. To the cleaners, what a great job you have done, and this is one of the cleanest places I've stayed at! It's obvious that you go the extra mile – I used to be one so I notice! Thank you for your great work! Will definitely be back! Hopefully with my man next time.”
