Competition Terms & Conditions
Giveaway Name: 27B Watson Holiday Rental – Free 2-Night Stay Giveaway
Promoter: The competition is run by the owner/operator of 27B Watson Holiday Rental (“Promoter”).
Platform: This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
1. Eligibility
1.1 Entry is open to residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or over.
1.2 Employees of the Promoter (if any) and their immediate families are eligible to enter, but the Promoter may decline entries if it creates a conflict of interest.
1.3 By entering, you confirm you meet these eligibility criteria.
2. How to Enter
2.1 To enter the giveaway, you must complete both of the following on the official giveaway post on the Promoter’s page:
Like/follow the Promoter’s page; and
Comment on the giveaway post tagging at least one (1) friend.
2.2 Each comment that tags at least one friend counts as one entry. You may enter multiple times by commenting multiple times, provided each comment tags a different friend.
2.3 Any automated, spam, fake, or suspicious entries will be disqualified at the Promoter’s discretion.
3. Competition Period
3.1 Entries open on the time/date the giveaway post is published.
3.2 Entries close at 11:59pm NZDT on 21 December 2026 (“Closing Date”).
3.3 Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted.
4. Prize
4.1 The prize is a free 2-night stay for up to 6 guests at 27B Watson Holiday Rental (“Prize”).
4.2 The Prize includes accommodation only. It does not include travel costs, food, beverages, transfers, or any other expenses.
4.3 The Prize is not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.
5. Booking & Stay Conditions
5.1 The winner must book directly with the Promoter (not via third-party channels), following the instructions provided after winning.
5.2 Stay dates are subject to availability and must be arranged with the Promoter.
5.3 The Prize excludes:
Statutory holidays, and
School holiday periods,
unless specifically arranged in writing with the Promoter in advance.
5.4 The winner must comply with the property’s house rules and any reasonable directions of the Promoter.
5.5 The Promoter may refuse a booking date if it conflicts with existing reservations or operational constraints.
5.6 The Prize must be used within 12 months of winner announcement unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
6.1 One (1) winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries within 7 days of the Closing Date.
6.2 The winner will be announced in a comment on the giveaway post and contacted via Facebook Messenger.
6.3 If the winner does not respond within 5 days of first contact, the Prize may be forfeited and re-drawn.
7. Privacy
7.1 By entering, you agree that your name and/or Facebook profile may be used to announce the winner.
7.2 Any personal information collected will only be used for administering this giveaway and booking the Prize, and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
8. Liability
8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrant or winner in connection with the giveaway or Prize.
8.2 Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986 (NZ).
9. General
9.1 The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the process or breaches these Terms.
9.2 The Promoter may amend, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if required due to circumstances beyond their control.
9.3 Entry into this giveaway constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
