We had all 6 diggers out today so why not snap a pic after washing them tonight in front of our new workshop and office. (Who's gonna be the first to spot only 5 diggers in the pic!) Pop in for a visit anytime if you want 🙂

We have some exciting news to share with you all – A2 Hire has been sold!
We are very pleased to introduce and congratulate Caryn Shearer and Craig McDonald, who will officially take over ownership of A2 Hire from 1 October 2026.

Caryn and Craig are looking forward to continuing the same friendly, reliable service that you have come to know from A2 Hire, while also taking the business forward and growing it into the future. We are really pleased to be handing A2 Hire over to them and know they will take great care of our customers.

Handover & New Location

From 1 October 2026, A2 Hire will be operating from its new location at:

76 Bremner Road, Ashburton

The entrance will be signposted. A2 Hire will be operating from the back of Fairfield Mechanical Workshop. Simply come down the drive off Bremner Road, drive around the right-hand side, and you will see the A2 Hire signs.
Caryn will be onsite to welcome you, meet you and help with any paperwork during the transition.

Phone: 027 255 4330 – no change
Email: [email protected]

Invoice & Payment Information

Any invoices dated up to and including 30 September 2026 should continue to be paid into the current A2 Hire bank account.
From 1 October 2026, any new invoices will need to be paid into the new A2 Hire bank account. Caryn will provide the new bank account details once these are available.

We really appreciate your help during the changeover and thank you for your understanding.

A Very Big Thank You

Most importantly, we want to say a huge and very genuine thank you to all of you.
We could not have built A2 Hire into the business it is today without the support of our customers. Your loyalty, repeat business, recommendations and support over the years have meant so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful.

A2 Hire has been a big part of our lives for nearly 5 years, and it has been wonderful to see the business grow from where we started to what it is today. We have met some fantastic people along the way and made many great connections, and for that we will always be thankful.

Although we are handing over the business, we aren't going anywhere! We will still be living in Ashburton, so we will be around and hopefully we'll continue to bump into many of you along the way

We would like to wish Caryn and Craig all the very best as they take A2 Hire into its next chapter. We are excited to see where they take the business and wish them every success for the future.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting A2 Hire and for being part of our journey.

Warmest regards,
Andrew & Lisa
