🌧️ TC Vaianu Update – Please Stay Prepared & Safe 🌬️
Kia ora koutou (Hello all),
We are closely monitoring updates from Auckland Emergency Management and MetService as Cyclone Vaianu approaches the North Island.
At this stage, Strong Winds and Heavy Rain Warnings are in place, with possible flooding, disruption to power and travel are expected across Auckland from Saturday night through Sunday.

We kindly ask all guests and visitors to take a few simple steps today to prepare:
🔹 Secure all items and have a grab bag or main bag ready just encase with key supplies to last for 3 days (water, food, clothing any medicines, chargers).
🔹 Ensure your devices, power banks are fully charged, have spare batteries for torch / headlamp.
🔹 Stay away from trees, edges of banks / steep hills where possible, keep out of the sea and any flood waters.
🔹 Check in with family or friends, especially if travelling, and let them know where you are, your plans and when you will be back in contact.
