We are loving the Brisbane sunshine - but will be in Aotearoa for a couple of weeks at the beginning of February! Looking forward to seeing friends at Bear Week and other occasions:)

I really loved, and thoroughly recommend the Coco Chanel ballet! Music made visual! A wide spread of music styles, dealing with different aspects of the story from perfume selection, love, nazitide, car crash to, of course, fashion shows! And exquisite dancing to express deep humanity as well as tell the stories. The idea of a person and their alta-ego being danced by two dancers was brilliant and made me think of my 'two dancers' :)

When i moved from Oxford, England þo Auckland, I soon realised I was falling out of touch with friends. Thats a really sad thing.
So I joined Facebook, and found it was a way to keep in touch - I felt I knew a bit of what was happening to them....sort of like the annual 'Christmas Letter' my parents' generation sent.
Unfortunately I just scrolles through 330 posts on my newsfeed. NONE of them was from a person I know, or a group, or organisation I have chosen to follow.
A lot of people are paying a lot of money to show me a lot of stuff I have no interest in.
And, I'm NOT seeing what my friends are up to!
Ah well....I'd better phone them!

We have decided to keep Gay Auckland Bed and Breakfast closed for the 2023 year.

Look out for us starting a new bigger bnb, hopefully with a pool. We miss our lovely visitors!

Beautiful customers, we have closed Gay Auckland BnB for the 2021 year. We're undertaking new LGBTQ+ adventures in Northern NSW, Australia! We're glad to keep looking after the GayStay New Zealand website and looking forward to the Travel Bubble. Kia kaha, kia manawanui!
