Tucked away at the end of a country valley, Paripuma is a magical and earthy beachside paradise, at times afflicted with wild coastal weather. Its views are completely untouched, East over Cook St and the Pacific Ocean, and North o

ver Cloudy Bay to Port Underwood and the striking Vernon Bluffs, after which the property is named. Our accommodation includes five large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The entire property can be booked exclusively, including for weddings. Pets are welcome & horses can be accommodated. Stay for a night, weekend, or longer - please enquire regarding exclusive or wedding bookings and longer term stays. You are welcome to wander around the 14 hectare property and relax in the Main Lodge. Garden tours and specific landscaping advice (from leading landscape designer Rosa Davison) are available - please enquire. With the Pacific coast on the doorstep you can stroll along the beach for hours, surfcast, swim in the lagoon, and, when in season, go whitebaiting at the Awatere River mouth, just a short walk away. For surfers, there is a renowned right hand point surf break - you can check the swell from your bedroom. Hector's Dolphins often play at the river mouth, and whales can be seen offshore.
