Happy New Year all. We hope yours has got off to a great start. The past few years have been pretty crazy for everyone as we adapted to having COVID in our country and the implications and restrictions this brought with it. 2023 will hopefully be more settled.

What beautiful weather we have had recently. The gardens would appreciate a little rainfall soon though (if not, the trusty old hoses will have to be used). The fruit trees around the section (mostly out the back in our yard) are now all really coming into their own with a good crop of plums on the tree planted 2 yrs ago near the front carpark.

Breathing life back into Lancewood

The Lancewood is a Historic Villa with expansive garden and lawn spaces, taking up just over 1 3/4 acres of land on the outskirts of the Bulls township.

We are the relatively new ‘caretakers’ of this Grand Old Lady and her expansive landscaped gardens. We hope that through our period of ownership we can breathe life back into her, nurturing and enhancing her rooms and filling them with family, friends and guests.
