Came back from an overseas visit and discovered this amazing place called Mungo in Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route of the Western Cape of South Africa.

Their homeware textiles are woven with 100% Italian-spun linen on 100-year-old power looms in their mill on site on the grounds of Old Nick Village, alongside their flagship store and museum. Their flax is grown in Upper Normandy at Terre de Lin then spun in Italy by Linificio e Canapificio Nazionale and then sent to be woven at Mungo Mill in Plettenberg Bay.

Mungo’s mission is to provide a product of exceptional quality and beauty and to create heirloom-quality woven goods.

I couldn’t resist these 100% linen European/Continental size cushions with its classic provincial look. This is their Lisburn Linen Cushion in Taupe.
And the 100% linen king size pillows from their Kamma Linen Range in Neutral.

These are definitely heirlooms! Absolutely stoked to have pieces of in our New Zealand BnB
