Glow worm tours from Finlay Park now available!

Finlay Park is excited to announce for the first time it is opening up Glow worm tours for the general public.
This means you, your family, your friends, or maybe even your business can experience the wonders of one of Waikato's best kept secrets.

The stunning trip will take you in the comfort of an open-air boat up a beautiful river surrounded by the lights of our night sky and glow worms. This trip is open to all, age and fitness level are not of concern.

This trip is being put on for this rare occasion as a fundraiser to support our local youth who are fundraising for their trip with Word of life – Fiji outreach. So please come along and support this dedicated group.

Love the wild life

A curious little tomtit/miromiro. These species are seen from Northland to Stewart Island, and both subspecies are curious towards humans, so much so that the Māori called tomtits “torotoro”, as they appear from nowhere in the forest like spies.🕵

You can often spot these adorable little puffs in the Southern Enclosure.
