We were treated to this spectacular double rainbow stretching right across our lawn this week.There is nothing quite like watching the weather roll over the hills with a hot cup of coffee (or a glass of local wine) in hand. Nature really put on a show for our guests!

Huge thanks to Robbie from YourLocal for spending the day with us at Maungatautari Outlook. He did an incredible job with a full exterior house wash and a professional spider treatment. The place is sparkling, and we’re officially 'creepy-crawly' free and ready for our next arrivals!

Still in awe after witnessing tonight’s Total Lunar Eclipse. There’s something so grounding about watching the Moon slip into Earth’s shadow and turn that deep, rusty red.

Meet the newest members of the Maungatautari Outlook family! 🦜✨
We are so excited to introduce our two beautiful Creamino Indian Ringneck Parakeets. They’ve been busy settling into their new home and adding even more charm to our grounds.
While they are lovely to look at, they are still getting used to all the new sights and sounds. For now, they aren’t quite ready for guest interactions or "close-ups," but they’d love for you to admire their beauty from a little distance.
We can’t wait for you to meet them on your next stay! 🌿🏡
