Another Nor'west storm and another top up of snow for the upper mountain! ❄️🏔️

We received 20cm overnight and a southerly change brings more snow showers tonight. It's looking like the weather clears to a beautiful day tomorrow, check the snow report at 6am for the latest and we'll see you up here!

The storm has cleared and the mountain is looking amazing! 🏔️❄️ Our team are currently working hard to clear the road and make the mountain safe for opening. We are hopeful that we will have the lower mountain open tomorrow and full opening on Sunday. Stay tuned for updates and thank you for your patience.

The storm is finally clearing! ❄️🏔️
Snowplay & Lodge will be open tomorrow for Matariki 🌃
This has been a significant storm and our team is now working hard to gain access to the mountain. Thank you for your patience, we will have an update tomorrow morning about opening for the weekend.
We can't wait to see everyone up here!
