Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge, New Zealand

Soak up the awesome views from your room or our spectacular lounge with sun deck. These views are regarded as some of the best in the village. The lodge is the concept of Mount Cook locals Tony and Adele Delaney, who wanted to provide a friendly, comfortable place to stay at an affordable price. Surrounded by native bush with a spectacular outlook to the mountains, the lodge is perfect for your stop at Mount Cook. The lodge has 16 rooms, made up of 10 double/twin ensuite rooms, 2 studio units, 3 ensuite family rooms and 1 bunk room. All of our front-facing rooms have incredible mountain views. Cook your own meals in our fully-equipped and spacious kitchen, or dine out in one of four restaurants, all within 2 minutes walk. Other features are a guest laundry, wireless internet and baggage storage. Most guests choose to stay 2 nights in order to fit in a world-class walk and another of the once-in-a-lifetime activities available at Mount Cook, such as a scenic flight over the majestic Southern Alps or a glacial lake boat tour. Next door to the lodge is our Aoraki Alpine Chalet, which is available for whole-house private bookings. The chalet can accommodate parties of up to 8 guests and features 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a patio with garden views.
