Perfect spot beside the lupins for a surprise engagement right? 💍

Last week we had a beautiful couple who especially came to Matuka Lodge to get engaged - with one of the ladies totally thinking it was a wonderful holiday her partner had planned!

It was such a beautiful occasion, with a photography hiding in the trees while the ladies walked towards a wonderful picnic spread we had created along with food catered by one of our favourites local cafes/chefs Khushla from
Joseph from was also her for one of his amazing night sky tours💫

My beautiful guest from Melbourne shared this photo with me. She opened the curtains and was greeted with the pink reflection on the pond from sunrise.
They flew to NZ - Twizel, so her husband could try his hand fishing with a local guide for a day. And he did great!! Catch and release and had the best day

At Matuka Lodge we help organise tours and private guides from fishing to astro and anything in between!
