DIVING DEEP - How Grapple 2025 Tackled Life Below Water

Last week, the 4C Centre hosted the country's best young minds for our annual Grapple 2025 intensive. Our Year 12 and 13 successful applicants were flown to Christchurch, hosted at Hotel Give, and given full access to the 4C Centre Makerspace (3D printers, AR/VR, robotics—the works!).

The Mission: tackling the UN Sustainable Development Goal to preserve Life Below Water.

Over seven intense days, three teams worked to create a physical, working prototype to combat this global issue. The competition was fierce, but the results were incredible. Congratulations to our winners, Team Hydro Scout for their brilliant boat prototype!
