What a couple of days. This week we headed up to Rotorua for HNZ26 — Hospitality New Zealand's flagship conference, and the largest gathering of hospitality and accommodation operators in the country.
The theme was Manaakitanga in Motion, and it showed everywhere we looked. Two days packed with brilliant keynote speakers, expert panels, a buzzing trade exhibition, and evenings that celebrated the very best of our industry.
A huge congratulations to all the finalists and winners of the Awards for Excellence — it was wonderful to see so much talent, hard work, and passion recognised. You set the bar high for all of us.
For us it was all about the connections — meeting other operators, swapping ideas, and coming away with a notebook full of learnings to bring back to the team at Hotel Give and our Food & Beverage operations Number Six Bar & Bistro, Black Box, Theatre and Venues at Papa Hou & Atawhai Cafe.
A huge thank you to Hospitality New Zealand for putting on such a fantastic event, and to everyone we met along the way. Rotorua, you were a wonderful host.
