Love this week & today we got the brilliant blue sky which makes this scene so beautiful!!
The Kowhai flower volume is well down on the last few years so not the same contrast, but still soooooo good!!!!

Samurai FC is a soccer/football club run by a bunch of volunteers with the hope for “Japanese youth in Christchurch to stay connected with their cultural identity through football.”

They are participating in the NZ Ethnic Football Festival in Hamilton this month.

Another off season improvement has been a TV update to go with the previously mentioned TV system upgrade.
Bigger screens, better angles, more excitement, more desk space and so much more!!

Stepping up!!
Adding stair nosings is not the sexiest off season improvement we’ve done but it does look good!!
The fluro strips soak up the daylight so if something happens overnight guests will still be able to use the stairs safely, and the nosings also provide an overall extra level of safety.

The latest off season improvement brings 2 new LG washers and dryers to bring the laundry up to speed. In addition a fresh coat of paint aligns the overall mood with the rest of the motel..
Easy loading & unloading, a variety of wash & dry options and a timer that tells guests exactly how many minutes remain on each load all combine to make those away from home chores all the easier- you're welcome!
