There’s an exciting new chapter beginning at The Muse Art Hotel, and I’m delighted to be stepping in as Hotel Manager.

Over the next six months, we have some exciting things in the works, all guided by a simple vision: to make The Muse Hotel a place Christchurch can truly be proud to call its own. A place that celebrates the city's heritage, champions its creative spirit, and brings together the stories, art and people that make Ōtautahi so special ❤️

A new neighbour has arrived 🍦

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Alvaro and Andrea, the owners of Material Gelato, as they opened their doors for the first time.

It’s always exciting to see another independent business bring its own personality, creativity and craft to this corner of Ōtautahi.

What makes this building particularly special is the collection of people and businesses within it, from artists and creatives to hospitality and local makers, each contributing something different to the character of the place.

And now, there’s gelato 🤎

Welcome Material Gelato to the neighbourhood, and we look forward to seeing your doors open, the gelato flowing, and plenty of new faces discovering them.
