After 20 wonderful years, raising our family and meeting incredible people from all over the world, we have made the difficult decision to move on from Clearview Lodge.

The new owners plan to provide accommodation in future, but we have no details to share currently.

The Olives NZ 2018 Extra Virgin Olive Oil Annual Awards were held in Masterton on 13 October and Clements Estate was successful in winning a silver medal in the Boutique Medium Blends Class. The judges comments were 'Salad leaves, artichoke and rocket leaves aroma, tropical fruits flavour on the palate, smooth flavour transfer, well-rounded oil with hints of zesty citrus tone'.

We labelled and boxed our 2017 Sparkling Pinot Rose today...ready for the coming guest season.

Our evaluation took place in late July by Qualmark and we have retained our Gold award under the Sustainable Tourism Business criteria for the Boutique & Lodge category.

Received notification from Olive NZ that our 2018 olive oil submitted for Certification has met all of the requirements for classification as Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Labelling our 2016 Pinot Noir at Gatehouse winery today. Around 800 bottles labelled, capped and boxed in under 3 hours. Thanks to our helpers, enjoy the wine 🍷

We have made provision for our less-abled guests (and relatives!) by adding hand-rails to our front steps.
