River View is a large new sun drenched stately home with a beautiful garden and quiet, rural outlook. Northwood is just off State highway 1 approaching Christchurch from the Northern Motorway. 15 minutes from the airport and 20 to the central city. Close to 'Willowbank Wildlife Park', shopping centres and excellent restaurants. Friendly well travelled hosts, who enjoy the company of people and sharing their cultural experiences.

Great to be back up and running. Still trying to sell our home but we have decided to continue meeting new friends and old friends while we wait. Do not panic Friends from afar we have blocked off when you are coming because we look forward to a holiday then LOL

We are having a lovely time with our guests from Germany. After being here three years ago they are really impressed by the advances forward we have made in Christchurch. Perhaps we who live here are a little impatient.?

Delifghted to have welcomed two guests from Germany last week.
Today we received their review. A 10!

Lynda und Trevor sind zwei wunderbare Gastgeber. Trotz später Anreise gegen 2 Uhr nachts, hat Linda uns mit bester Laune empfangen. Als wir aufgestanden waren (Linda hat uns angeboten auszuschlafen und erst spät auszuchecken), wartete ein leckeres Frühstück auf uns, bei dem uns die beiden in familiärer Atmosphäre gute Tipps für unsere weitere Reise gegeben haben. Fazit: immer wieder gerne!

Lynda and Trevor are two wonderful hosts. Despite late arrival around 2 o'clock at night, Linda has received us in the best mood. When we got up (Linda offered to go to sleep and check out late), a delicious breakfast was waiting for us, the two in a family atmosphere good tips for our further trip. Conclusion: always gladly! Score awarded 10/10
