Just on dusk and dinner time at Soggy Bottom Farm for this Bellbird. Feeding on a red-hot poker flower, camellia and Jasmine flowers in the garden.

Kaihoka Lakes is a great short walk if you would like to get out and see some of the most spectacular country side in the area. Approximately 20 minute drive from Soggy Bottom Farm Accommodation and you will be amongst Nikau palms and native bush.

If you are a bird lover there's plenty to explore while staying at Soggy Bottom Farm Accommodation.
This great spot is approximately 3km up the road with a shelter built to keep you out of the weather, plus the birds don't really know you are there and you can get some close up photos.
Lots of information on our local and migrating birds.

Wainui Falls is a must while you are staying at Soggy Bottom Farm Accommodation.
Gorgeous short walk amongst beautiful bush up along the river and over the swing bridge to this beautiful water fall.
