Well done to the crew from Wild Cherry Logging in Turangi, stayed over the weekend and had 2 fantastic days out on the water and took plenty of fresh snapper home. Great to have you back, glad you enjoyed your fishing and see you again soon. Must have been a bumper weekend for fishing, Coromandel also had a Team building group from Fonterra go out fishing and they all caught their limits too. It was magic weather for being out there on the weekend. Well done to you all!!

Another beautiful day on the coast. Sent one group out fishing first thing this morning, great conditions and another out to do some of our great walks so close to town. Great ways to enjoy these warm clear autumn days. :)

There will be a service outside the Council Building tomorrow morning to remember our fallen family, countrymen and hero's who fought long and hard, who never gave up and always looked out for their brothers in arms. Stand tall tomorrow in their memory.

Hope everyone is starting to dry out after that down pour. The farmers will be doing their happy dance, just like us with Easter almost here!! How many of you are taking advantage of the TWO Long weekends????? What a cracker chance to get on up the Coast for some beach and fishing time before winter really gets here. Got a few rooms left on some of the days so get in quick!!
