Before and after every gaming machine are real people and real conversations, so we know that gaming can be a topic that people feel strongly about. Our staff work hard to minimise the effects of gambling on the community and ensure the safety measures and protocols are always followed and enforced.

What often gets overlooked, though, is the positive impact that gaming funding can have when it finds its way back into local communities.

We were genuinely stoked to receive this email from Lydia letting us know that funding from Pub Charity has helped Puriri School secure a new minivan for their tamariki. That's the kind of story we love hearing.

Across New Zealand, Pub Charity returns approx 45 million dollars each year to community groups, schools, sports clubs, health and disability services, arts and cultural organisations, environmental projects, and many other initiatives that might otherwise struggle to access funding.

Congratulations to Puriri School, and a big thank you to Pub Charity for helping make projects like this possible. It's a wonderful reminder that when funding is used well, it can make a real difference to the people and communities who need it most. ❤️

You know you're in a town that takes its Big Bots seriously when the weekly bottle returns look like we've been supplying a small country. 🍺😂

Forget flat whites and boutique kombucha... Coromandel runs on Big Bots.

We probably won't be winning any Tourism NZ awards with the slogan... "Coromandel – It's a Big Bot Town." ...but let's be honest, it tells you everything you need to know. 🤣

To our amazing locals and visitors... thank you for keeping the Big Bot tradition alive. We love the laughter, the stories, and the mountain of empties that reminds us you've all been having a bloody good time.
