On the eve of the 25th Anniversary of the incorporation of Heritage Inns of New Zealand, we have merged our group with Green Journeys to form an exciting and brand-new tourism organisation.
This new group is called the New Zealand Association of Boutique Travel Operators - providing access to the top level of accommodation and tourist activities.
Over these 25 years, Heritage Inns became a group that signified superior quality in accommodation and earned many accolades along the way.
We were amongst the first groups to adopt the NZ Tourism Quality Assurance brand - Qualmark and became the benchmark for boutique accommodation.
Many friendships have been made with fellow members and guests and our own brand will be missed but not forgotten. Unforgettable experiences became our Hallmark and you have been able to add these to your own memories of your NZ journeys.
Times change and with the Global Pandemic we have had to adapt to that so the decision to enlarge and embrace a different type of service was made. With Green Journeys we have added to our own awareness of our carbon footprint and hope that you will enjoy your new experiences

Some may cast their mind back to staying at The Weston House( demolished due to Earthquake Damage 2011) and charge you glasses at Wine O'clock and drink to the new future and the changing face of tourism in the 21st Century.
