$140pn Totara Hut, is a walk in/ walk out style of accommodation. Perched on the side of the Chain hills, Totara hut offers views towards the Pacific Ocean and the Silverpeaks. Named for a stand of majestic mature Totaras, just minutes from the hut, it is the perfect place to unwind, bird watch or explore the outdoors. Based on a basic DOC hut but with some added luxuries, it is the perfect way to experience back country style accommodation 15minutes from Dunedin. The idea is you carry in all you need on one of the walks provided, walks range between 10min, 20min or 1hr. Options for gear drop offs if carrying gear is not an option for you. Totara hut is Dog friendly, we are a working farm so please have your dog on leads when passing stock or horses.
