Duntroon is made by a communuty
So many in the community work quietly around and some donate

A massive thank you to Gill G who donated a heap of grasses which I planted yesterday in the woman's divison
Gill has also donated other grasses earlier

This particular area is such a passion for me, When I closed Kowhai Cottage I took a few Polys and planted them in here for a spot of colours

Ive grown some hebes from cutting and some Kowhais too plus council donated the initial first 9 dragons gold Kowhai
Omg they have taken off and 100 % of them are flowering at the moment

Flowers are in short supply at my house so I've done best for the toilets this week

A mix of beauty and the beast at Duntroon wetlands late this afternoon for me
With a hint of sun left I took my loppers down and cut 3 bushes of gorse down and then dobbed them with w**d killer
These bushes were way off the track and with all dogs required to be on leads, there will be no danger there for animals

Love seeing the Kowhai,s in total flower and 1 hardy bumble bee hard at work collecting pollen
This is such a wonderful time of year

Last week I did quite a lot of w**ding 2 areas and then taking away some green plant protectors off large trees as they over grown their use

Saturday Elf and I went into a open space which had large sticks which indicated some plants were planted there and yippee we saved 2 plants that were covered in very long grass and also found 2 sites with 2 plants that were suffocated by grasses and died
W**d release is my focus for this remainder of the year, actually I done this all year
