Dragged my elf to the wetlands on a sunny Saturday arvo to flatten some ground for a picnic delivery for volunteers .lurk around on working bee days
I did a cleaning out of our container which felt so good as we had TOOLSSSSS
They were donated to the wetlands yipppeee

Today's community work is planting dutch iris,s ( donated by locals Jess and Steven ) plus a hand grown kaka beak and mini fushia all around toikets, village green and our Duntroon township sign ..all while dodging dozens of kids who were visiting the Waitaki Whitestone Unesco Global Geopark Vanished world centre
Great to see Duntroon so alive in winter

Havnt been to Vanished world museum NO or YES
A amazing revamp has happened and im so thrilled for them

Rubbish rubbish
Road side rubbish, who,s responsibility is it to pick up?????
I believe its mine to do, I didnt put it there and every day on my school bus I drive past it and literally cringe inside
For many years I wear some bright clothes and grab a rubbish bag and off I go
After some surgery in September bending is harder so I found a older person's grabber stick and today's job of rubbish collecting has been much easier
A total win win

Ps If you see rubbish in a street or somewhere GRAB IT and pop it in a bin
Be a rolemodel and leave our country tidy and clean EASY PEASY

PSS .Its winter time so I am quiet at my accommodation and busy in the community
