And, all units have sliding doors opening onto the beachside to let in the fresh ocean air. Whether you are working, or on holiday our units have everything you need, including free WI-FI. General information

GROUND FLOOR APARTMENTS Our ground floor units open right up onto the grass area with picnic table. Steps away from the beach, simply open your door to welcome the fresh ocean breeze. Featuring a spacious lounge area with dining table, lounge suite, and a queen size bed - (ocean side). Bathroom, full kitchen and 2 single beds in the bedroom. Sleeps up to 4. 3 apartments (1,2,3) have been revamped featuring the same set up as all ground floor units. UPSTAIRS APARTMENTS With your private balcony, enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the ocean views. Featuring a foldout bed, and single bed in the spacious lounge overlooking the ocean. A queen bed in the bedroom. Our upstairs units can sleep up to 4 people. And of course you have a full bathroom and kitchen. REVAMPED APARTMENT - UPSTAIRS Apartment 8 is set up for 2 people to enjoy featuring a queen bed in the bedroom. Spacious lounge overlooking the ocean, private balcony, kitchen and bathroom. FAMILY ROOM - 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT 1 bedroom has a double bed and a set of bunks. The other has a queen bed and fold out double bed in the spacious lounge. Also featuring full kitchen, bathroom, and your very own private balcony right on the beachfront. KITCHEN Full Kitchen with oven, microwave, pots and pans right down to a cheese slice. So if you feel like popping your masterchef hat on and cooking for yourself, you'll have everything you need. We also have a BBQ area available. BATHROOM Featuring a shower with great water pressure and heat, separate toilet and vanity unit. Plus a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. LAUNDRY Washing machine, dryer and tub. Washing line for quick air drying. SERVICE/CLEANING Judith and the team absolutely love cleaning so you'll find your units spotless. Your units are serviced daily. CHECK IN/OUT Check in is 2pm. Check out is 10am. Please give us a call to see if your unit is ready earlier. NON-SMOKING All units are non-smoking. LIQUOR LICENCE You are welcome to purchase snacks or a beverage - wine, beer, cider, water or soft drinks and enjoy from your room. RECEPTION Judith and Peter are available from 7.30am till 8.30pm and are known for being the most accommodating hosts. They love helping, and their priority is making sure you feel at home. And, if you would like snuggles with the famous cat Bosco, he will definitely come for a visit. PARKING We have off street parking for you. FOR THE KIDS We have plenty of room to play around outside on the grass. The beach is moments away for building sand castles and all the beach activities. We have a cot/highchair available. MEALS Cooked or continental breakfast can be ordered and delivered to your apartment. Delivery with charge-back facilities are available from most local restaurants. At Tatapouri you can feed stingray. SUP, kayak or get into waka ama along our rivers. Cycle the railways, mountain bike up Kaiti Hill which you can see from your room - the options are plentiful.

For our keen fisherman, Gisborne is known as a fishing paradise with plenty of charter options, trout fishing or salt-water fishing. Kids love to fish off the wharf, you can surf-cast right outside your room at Whispering Sands or take a drive down the "Mad Mile" as the locals call it, to the Waipoa River mouth for a spot of fishing.
