Season's Greetings from the team at Esplanade Motels Gore. Best wishes for 2024
Enjoy the poem written by Carol Small from Waikaka.
It's beginning to look alot like xmas,
Everywhere I go,
Soon you'll hear the bells ring,
Its the Carols that you sing,
Right from within your heart.
Yesterday it was such a thrill,
Even better than a pill,
When I drove into Gore,
You'll never guess who I saw,
A great big jolly Santa out on his balcony,
Wow! Esplanade Motels,
Well that place rings my bells,
There's room at the Inn,
As he beckons people in,
Gil and Jack,
all that huff and puff woulda sent you to the North Pole and back,
Jiggling and wriggling on his perch,
Over the side I hope He don't lurch,
They've got him tied up, he can't escape,
A great big welcome to Gore he does make,
Straining and stretching on his rope,
Its My only hope,
he dont Bust the cord n sail away,
Although he would be welcome Waikaka way,
We wud offer a place for him to stay,
He has a twinkle in his eye,
As everyone drives by,
Giving us all a wave,
While up on his balcony he raves.
Jiggling and wriggling,
All day long.
Singing all those xmas songs.
It's raining out today,
So inside we must stay,
Ho ho ho
Only 4 sleeps to go 🤶
