Yesterday we had the Grey Valley Hotels end of pool season presentation here. Our Nelson Creek Boars team came out on top for the second year running. Congratulations, well done team! The Boars are also on top this year for the most games won! The Grey Valley Pool Singles Champion is our very own Phil Blacklock, well done Phil!
Phil Blacklock also took away the Nelson Creek Top Singles trophy and Hemi Manawatu and Dave North took away the Top Doubles trophy for this season, well done!! Our trophy shelf is looking very impressive!!
It's been a very successful season for Nelson Creek, congratulations and well done to everyone who participated! Cheers

We had a special delivery yesterday from our friends at Strongbarn Woodshop. Col and Gina delivered them personally and we were able to have a wee catch up last night. 18 new bar stools..amazing craftsmanship!! Don't they look great!! Come on in and try them out. Cheers

August was a busy month for us with family and friends from all over the country staying with us. We were their tour guides taking them to places they hadn't been to before. A highlight for us was having our beautiful daughter Kendall Elise playing an acoustic set here on 20th August. Kendall, Chris, Debbie and Ian did a road trip down from Thames and Auckland and friends from Invercargill, Oamaru and Dunedin came to see her perform and as usual we also had a great turnout from our locals 😀 A great time was had by all! Cheers
