Our Story

After living in Wanaka for 35 years we were looking for a new challenge. On the 1st of February 2017 we purchased Aspiring Court Motel Haast Lodge & Motorpark on the West Coast of the South Island - the gateway to the West Coast and Glaciers. Located halfway between the resort towns of Queenstown/Wanaka to the south and the Glaciers to the north, in the heart of a World Heritage National Park.

The complex consists of 13 motels units, 9 backpacker room, 2 whitebaiter cabins and 23 powered van sites. Since we purchased this property we have been steadily upgrading all aspects of the complex.

We are enjoying the challenge and the many delightful people we have met in the last 3 ½ years. We consider ourselves very lucky to be living in such a beautiful part of New Zealand.
