Hello .A long time since Ive posted on here.This morning I have cleared the B&B breakie table for the last time for????We decided to close .I am sorry that I couldnt honour the rest of my bookings but in fairness to our family , we felt this is the right decision.My guests this morning are from Germany. They are unable to get home.We shared disbelief at the whole situation we find the world in today that is changing daily.With a tear in our eyes, we shared the feeling of feeling paniced and unsure.They have friends in NZ and are going to stay with them..They are lucky because a lot of tourists in the same situation wont have and will be on their own. We are all in this together.Lets be thoughtful and kind to each other.Care !. Its been a nice season at Leah & the Lama.Have met a lot of golden people from all over.Thank you for supporting us.Till we are all on the other side of this ,Take care of yourselves, your fams and others. Happy Saturday everyone.Leah & the Lama has been really busy Despite the amazing weather ,most people visiting throw their wet weather gear on and "just do it " and embrace all on their list of TO DO s" .Time is precious.!Have to say on a personal note,Im holding out for some great gardening shine.Have those flowers blooming great for Chrissi. Had a dream last night that i was a Christmas pressie short on Christmas day. I had forgotten some one. EEEEk!,Think the message was that I need to sort it and this morning I have made a list and after breakfast Im away to conquer and do my Chrissi shopping.I may have to also throw my wet weather gear on and EMBRACE it. Happy Saturday all. x

Hello from Leah & the Lama.After what has been a hugely busy season, Ive decided to take a break over the next few months.The weather can make it stressful for people traveling and because we are so high up and snow often being unpredictable,Ive decided to sit this one out.,honouring the winter bookings I have already OF COURSE.We have a new grandbaby coming during these next months and I need time to do some knitting. Lol. I expect to have loads of coffees out with those I haven t managed to see over the season.Looking forward to catching up.Other wise I ll see you in the summer sun.And.... as Always Thanks for your support Regards Kathi xox

Leah & the Lama would love to wish every one out there A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS. Thank you to every one who has shown support to us over the year. , and what a fast one it s been. From our initial expectation of a very casual business, we went from zero to 100 immediately and spent the first few months in staggered shock .Leah has kindly given us a few days off to enjoy our family and the christmas break. . We do wish you all a happy, loving and safe festive season.And.... A big 'Thank you from Leah as well .XoX

Well, a morning at Leah& the Lama. Could i pick up a wedding dress?. Of course I can do that. Eeeeeek, love the dog , love the grandies, BUT no way could I put a beautiful wedding dress into that truck.A definate pos was that daughter number 3 , her kyak wasnt still in there..All good and so it was promptly cleaned . Not a dust particle remains. However,,,, the inside looked soooooo clean , the outside let it down. Yep, all washed and polished now AND its not even 8.3o.AND away to pick up a dress and a much deserved coffee LOL

Wow , what a weekend. Have had the pleasure of meeting such nice kiwis from all over our amazing country, AND we won the rugby. Nail biting at half time for sure. 20 Degrees temps today. Aren t we sooooo lucky to be living here . Love it !
