Hanmer Springs Forest Camp is a great smoke-free venue for school camps, group accommodation, conferences and family holidays. We have a range of cabins, self contained units, self catering kitchens and a fully accessible lodge. We offer a spacious campground, family cabins and self-contained motel style units. There are on-site outdoor activities on offer for school camps and team building activities for conferences and groups.

🐾 Sled Dogs are coming to Hanmer Springs Forest Camp! 🐾

We're excited to be hosting the South Island Siberian Husky Club's Sled Dog Meet & Greet right here at Hanmer Springs Forest Camp on Saturday, 11 July, from 2–4pm.

Come along to meet these incredible dogs and their mushers, learn about the exciting world of sled dog racing, and get up close with the stars of the annual Hanmer Challenge.

This is a fantastic family-friendly event and everyone is welcome! Please remember to leave your own dogs at home so the sled dogs can enjoy the afternoon.
