I am so grateful. I get to meet the most amazing people and call it “work”, when really, what I’m doing is gaining beautiful friendships from all over the world. Finding this beautifully painted and signed rock at the cottage today just made my day - Dirk & Berna, thank you so much! Trust me, I will not ever forget you!💗🙏🏻

I hope that you are keeping safe and healthy and making the most of this special time with your loved ones. I for one feel so very lucky to have my mum and dad here with us in these times of uncertainty. I count my blessings every day that we are able to spend our lockdown days here at Kincaid, our very own safe haven that we call home❤️

Tough week at Kincaid as we’ve had to say goodbye to our darling old girl Billie Jean. My beautiful girl has been such a big part of us, and Kincaid, ever since we moved here from the other side of the world nearly 12 years ago. She was my son’s very first, and best friend for a (worryingly..😆) long time, she kept him company and followed him everywhere. She was a substitute mum for all the paddock fur babies, and a favourite with many of my gorgeous animal loving guests, at both the lodge and the cottage over the years!
We will miss her sass, her quirky personality and her beautiful soul and presence.
Sleep tight my best girl, Kincaid will not be the same without you Billie Boo💔

On this Waitangi Day - Tangaroa gave us this breathtaking natural Koru which symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace right here in Kaikoura, NZ. Now that's something very special 💙
