A pre concert bite and cheeky Negroni Vinci’s Pizza before the Macy Gray concert here in Napier tonight.

The pizzas and drinks are absolutely delicious, the vibe is very relaxed and the street side tables are the best for people watching. Specially on such a beautiful evening.

“Gimblett Gravels Vineyard to Table Experience”

Last week we had the pleasure of sampling this new adventure soon to be launched by Craggy Range W**ery and Craggy Range Restaurant

Starting at 9am at the Giants w**ery in Havelock North you are transported in style by elecexec to the Gimblett Gravels, Mere Road for a tour of the w**ery.

During the journey you get to enjoy the landscape that defines the region named one of the 12 Great W**e Capitals of the world.

The tour takes you inside the world of the working w**ery and vineyard where you gain insight into the craft of the w**e maker while sampling some of the latest vintages direct from the barrels.

After this unique experience you are transported back to The Giants site where you can enjoy lunch from the Signature Table menu paired with a selection of w**es designed to bring together the flavours of the region and the w**es you have explored throughout the day.

Such a special time here in the garden at Hawthorne House.

Our Japanese Crabapple, Malus Floribunda, is in full bloom so all is good in the world.

Crimson red buds become soft pink blossom that slowly fades to white, just so beautiful.

And currently the tree is abuzz with bees 🐝 going about their business adding sound to sight!

We are so blessed to have such a strong artistic community based here in Hawke’s Bay and last night we were privileged to attend the opening of hazelredmond_ show at DESIGNER EYEWEAR & OPTOMETRY | HAVELOCK NORTH as part of the FOTOFEST Hawke’s Bay Photography Festival

What a stunning achievement by Hawkes Bay W**e Auction our amazing local w**e makers, growers and community. This year everyone dug deep and beat all previous records.

Every single cent of the money raised at the auction goes directly to Cranford Hospice and the care of those in need of its vital services.

Those that win the bids get to donate to this amazing cause and to drink w**e, definitely a win win!
