Wonderful “Maybies” (May Babies) birthday celebration with, as always, beautiful food and an inspired wine matching in the private dining room .ari last night.

Much merriment and such fun.

Beautiful dinner last night with exceptional wines new to our taste buds! Jim the sommelier did a wonderful job helping guide our choices and it was a pleasure to chat with Barbara and Matt.

Each plate was a visual delight with intense and perfectly balanced flavours.

Return… we certainly will!!

Welcome to the hood serving all things local. Everything made onsite including their own oat milk.

The chicken wrap was absolutely delicious as were the cheese scones and the leek and fennel quiche with an amazing tasty chutney.

At last, the dinner to celebrate the win of paddle 142!

We were delighted to be the winning bidders of the lot 2024

Huge thanks to and for being the hosts with the mosts!

The plan is to get together in 5, 10 and 15 years to check the progress of the wine. (Of course there’ll be get togethers in the meantime)

Raku glazing and firing last night with the ever patient

A cheeky Tuesday tipple… Preserved Lemon Drop Martini

2oz gin
1/2oz dry vermouth
1/2oz Lillet Blanc
1/2oz preserved lemon brine
Garnish - preserved lemon slice

Chill a martini glass. Add all liquid ingredients to a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice and shake. Pour into the chilled glass and garnish with the preserved lemon (or lemon twist)
