We get asked where the laundry is more often than you'd think. Fair enough. A few days on the road and the suitcase tells on you.

The guest laundry is on site for anyone staying with us. Housekeeping keeps it in the same nick as the rooms: bench clear, ready to use, nothing left behind.

Not the glamorous part of a motor lodge. The useful part. If you're in Hastings more than a night or two, you'll probably be glad it's there.

A question we hear at reception most weeks: what is worth doing with one free afternoon in Hastings? Our answer is usually to keep it simple. Coffee in town, a drive out to Napier for a stroll along Marine Parade, then dinner back in Havelock North or Hastings. Come home to Railway Road, free on-site parking and a quiet night's sleep. If you are staying with us soon, just ask at the desk and we will happily point you in the right direction.
