Could not of picked a better time to return to the Central North Island - sunshine and little rain. While the days have been stunning, the mornings have been frosty ⛄️ and the nights chilly🥶 Home for us at Hinemaiaia for the next few months - one week down, seven to go. Looking forward to some warmer mornings 🌦️

Enjoying the weekend chasing yellowfin tuna as well as putting more hours on the new motor - the Yamaha was pretty quiet and so were the tuna! Plenty of birds about and the odd seal. Unfortunately didn’t manage to get any footage of the Jesus bird dancing on the water as they were worth the watch! Ended up on anchor to catch a feed so all in all a great day 😊

We can tick that one off the bucket list😊 Both our horses are coasties - Launch was more than comfortable being back home as this is where he was born. While Red may have been an inland boy as we spent the ride slaughtering seaweed on the beach and keeping a close eye on the waves. Must say there was a lot of energy in those waves that day 🌊 Happy riding happy horses😊❤️
