This Saturday and Sunday (17–18 October), artists across Manawatū, Rangitīkei and Horowhenua will be opening their doors and showcasing their creativity.

Our very own Hīmatangi Beach Community Hall will be hosting local artists displaying their work, so make sure you pop in for a look. You might even find something special to take home! 🖼️

And just like that, the school holidays are coming to an end!

How nice has it been to finish them off with a good stretch of settled weather?

It’s been so good seeing plenty of guests making the most of the beach this week, fishing, walking, playing and just enjoying being outside in the sunshine.

We’ve enjoyed the busy-ness too, with the campground humming and the café keeping us on our toes. It’s certainly been a different kind of school holidays for us this time around!

Thanks to everyone who chose to spend part of their school holidays with us. Safe travels home, and good luck with the return to school on Monday!

Just two days to go!

🚜 Who says a beach holiday has to be all about the beach?

Feilding Rural Day is on this Friday, and it sounds like a great day trip for anyone staying with us over the school holidays.

Tractors, animals, shearing, diggers, a mechanical bull, kids’ activities and the Gumboot Relay... there’s plenty happening!

Spend the day enjoying a bit of rural Manawatū, then head back to Hīmatangi Beach for the evening. 🌊🚜
